I love to eat out but don’t get the chance very often. When I do, I still want to be able to follow my Alkaline regime. On my video, you will hear my tips for eating out in the following types of restaurants.

My Top 10 Tips:
1. Take high mineral salt with you such as a Celtic Salt.

2. Make sure the wait staff know what sorts of food you CAN eat.

3. If they don’t know what to prepare for you, suggest a big green salad, steamed or roasted vegetables (done in oil not butter). Be specific about what you want.

4. Wild fish (and definitely not farm raised) – Salmon, Halibut, Sea Bass or Trout, Sardines are great too.

5. Ensure there are no Mushrooms, Dairy or Vinegar in the food.

6. Take Alkalizing Drops with you to add to their water, or bring your own water. Add slices of Lemon or Lime.

7. Remember to have a good dose of Greens, 4 Salts and Alkaline Water when you get home.

8. Prepare your own salad dressing and bring it with you for the salad bar. And even an Avocado.

9. Let them know you are a Fish Eating Vegan.

10. Check to make sure they DON’T use a microwave to cook or reheat your food and if they do, then it’s salad for you!!

Great Restaurants
1. Thai – Vegetarian Curries or Stir Fries. Remember to ensure the dish is prepared with no Peanuts, Baby Corn or Mushrooms. My local is the Thai Pepper of Milford, MA. It is Outstanding.

2. Vegetarian Indian (Southern Indian) – e.g., Lentil Pancakes. My locals are: Udupi Bhavan in Shrewsbury, MA and Dosa Temple in Ashland, MA. Yum!

3. Fish Restaurants – Simple fish dishes, steamed or stir fried vegetables. I love Legal Seafoods.

4. Middle Eastern (e.g., Lebanese or Moroccan) – Chickpea and Tahini dishes like hummus, babaganoush and salads.

5. French – They do wonderful lightly steamed vegetable dishes, fish, lots of garlic, salads, olive oil. They also do lots of delicious but acidic foods so don’t get drawn in.

6. Whole Foods Market. They do a great job at offering vegan foods and are fresh for you to choose. They also have a wide variety of salads also.

6. Salad Bar. These are great but remember to bring your own salad dressing and to steer clear of the pickled veggies like beets in vinegar and coleslaw that is in a dairy base mayonnaise..

7. Italian – Fish, salads and vegetables

8. Specialist Vegan and Vegetarian restaurants – My local is the Red Lentil in Watertown, MA. My children love the Black Bean Veggie Burgers and the Pizza. They even serve Young Thai coconuts to drink! This is an amazingly healthy and delicious restaurant.
